b. Vienna, May 22, 1850, 
d. Vienna, June 17, 1893. Composer, violinist. Son of 
clarinettist Kaspar S. and brother of Josef  Schrammel. Played in 
various theatre and salon orchestras. Together with his brother he 
founded the famous  Schrammel-Quartett.
