Stadlau#
Stadlau, village within the 22nd district of Vienna, situated on the south-western edge of the Marchfeld Plain; documented mention as "Stadelowe" in 1147/67, independent municipality until 1904, subsequently part of the 21st and, since 1938, of the 22nd district of Vienna. - Shunting station on the Eastern Railway track; several industries ( Donaustadt); Health Care Centre East. - Parish church of St. George (12th century) destroyed in a flood in 1438; belonged to the parish of Kagran until the 20th century, new church dates from 1923/24, parish church since 1940.
